FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $20 for half hour lessons, $30 for 45-minute lessons, and $40 for a 60-minute lesson. This rate applies to any new prospective students, online or in person instruction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically set up a getting to know you interview before starting any lessons. I've found that helps making the first lesson less stressful, since the interview gives you an opportunity to ask questions. It also gives me the opportunity to ask more in depth questions about your goals and explain how I teach.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I have been playing piano since I was 7, and I am currently 26 years old. I studied piano, flute, and organ at IUP. I also know how to play guitar and have been playing guitar for 10 years. I self-taught myself ukulele in college. I have been working as a pianist and organist since the age of 17.
