Introduction: 39+ years of playing out gives me a big advantage over a young DJ. My knowledge of music is vast. My DJ set up is very unique & all my own. No ugly speaker stands & very few visible wires. I have stacks of speakers, not stands to trip over. I have over 208 days of music to please almost anyone who grew up loving popular music. I play for the people...I'll play Patsy Cline for Grandma & I'll play for the crowd. I get rave reviews about the music I play... I didn't have 1 complaint all year. Being a Musician & DJing is my life...music is my life. I wish you could see me play drums. I have 1 other thing going for me, I'm good with people. I've been in the public eye since I was a paperboy in grade school to playing drums in a bar band at 14 years old in 1974. I've been in over a dozen bands, started DJing in 1986. I've lived music & I love the great outdoors too. I'm easy to work with & I'm flexible...it's there special event, I'm there to do what they want me to do. They are the boss... Weddings are great, I just played 1 & it was like something you'd seen in a movie, the energy was incredible from the announcement of the Bridal party to the very last song. Almost a week later & people are still talking about it. I make a lot of people happy... the love of music & the people keep me going. By the way... I just added 5 new LED lights to my light show. It looks awesome...

John DJ'd my son's graduation party. He had enough music to cover everyone's interests. From the "Oldies" to the current pop to country for my daughter and her friends. He even obliged everyone's requests. Also, he was kind enough to hook my daughter's karaoke machine into his system so they were able to sing songs using his speakers. He's agreed to do my daughter's Sweet 16 Party!!!

Go with many years of experience & a great knowledge of music.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'm also a Musician & started playing out 39 years a go. Having a wealth of knowledge about music has helped me tremendously & I've come to know what people like to hear. I don't play off the wall stuff that nobody knows...unless it's requested. Sometimes I won't play a song because of language & content... I have morals, there's a time & place for that, it all depends on the crowd & the people there. I play complete songs, I'm not a club DJ from the city... I don't scratch. I play great music that most people love...I try to please everybody. In reality that's impossible. Sometimes you do...like the Wedding I played last week. I had the Bride & Groom in the middle of the dance floor with 50 people in a big circle surrounding them. I played 'I've Had The Time Of My Life'.. It was like watching a movie...I hit them with 1 more song...Blurred Lines...It was the Wedding of the year. The best part --- It was my cousin's Wedding. I'm easy to work with & I don't get drunk...I may have a few but most likely I'll be drinking my spring water. Nobody needs a drunk DJ... besides that, it sucks tearing down while being drunk & it sucks waking up with a hangover...It's been over 1,030 days since I woke up with a hangover. I'm also in the process of getting my new teeth, smile & new me. Time to get this show on the road... You'll be glad you hired me, I have the music & the experience to make your special event everything you'd want from a quality DJ service. In 39 years of playing out, I've never missed a gig...
