Introduction: In 2000 (after 30+ years in 'Corporate America'), I created Virtual Assistance, providing administrative/clerical services to individuals and small businesses. Years later I decided to revamp my business, focusing on proofreading, editing, and data entry services. This was the best decision I ever made and I feel blessed to have been successful. Having been an avid reader all my life, I love the written word and enjoy working with writers of all genres, including businesses requiring the services of a freelance editor. In the past six and a half years, I have edited over 200 books (list provided upon request). I work mainly with 'indie' authors, many who are taking their shot at fulfilling a dream. For that reason, I work closely with them and offer several levels of reasonably-priced service, depending on their need. In addition, with each edit, I provide a final proofread once the author has approved the work...to catch any pesky typos that may still remain. I take pride in my work and treat each project as if it were my own. I am truly an author's best friend.
