We used this DJ for our wedding in August. I have to say that our DJ Jim is a very nice person. He even took the time to bring me a glass of water during photos. My low rating stems from lack of communication and professionalism. When I first spoke to Jim last fall he told me that he would send me a worksheet and that we would speak several more times to workout to details of our day. I did receive the worksheet and one phone call. After that crickets. I sent an email roughly three weeks before my wedding as I had not heard anything and wanted to make some changes to our initial worksheet and crickets. No response. Two phone calls later I finally reached Jim. He told me of course he would be there and everything was under control. Not another call until the night of my rehearsal when he interrupted dinner with his call to let me know what time he would arrive and how much he expected as a gratuity. He also took the time to attempt to sell me on additional services that I did not need. We discussed a need for two more songs for the ceremony which I emailed to him. I also reminded him that I had sent two emails about changes to our worksheet when he asked questions about things that I had addressed in those emails. He said he would look the emails over before coming to our wedding. Fast forward one day. He still thought there was a Dollar Dance and a garter and bouquet toss which I had addressed not doing in my emails two weeks prior. He completely forgot to do a spotlight dance for our parents and interrupted our photos to ask questions about the music as he felt that people were not dancing. I appreciate the thought here, but this should have been worked out through the phone calls that were promised and never happened. I would love to give this man higher marks for being a nice person, but the professionalism is not there. While Jim would be great for a class reunion, birthday party , or graduation party I cannot recommend using him for a wedding.

He was hired for a friend's wedding. Seemed very nice in the beginning. He told the Bride she would hear from him often so they could have everything figured out for the wedding day. She had to email him & wait for response. He never once called like he said he would. He was to arrive by 12 (ceremony at 2), called the morning of the wedding & claimed he was in an accident on his was there & all his equipment was ruined. Never offered a refund. We had someone call pretending to set up a date for him to DJ (that same day) he was more than happy to accept the job. Caught in a lie!! After demanding a refund he said he would arrive around 4:00 (ceremony was well over at this point) He arrived with a guest, assistant we guessed. He didn't play one song that was on the couples list (the list which he received well before the wedding) his 'assistant' helped himself to the alcohol & wandered around the property as if he were looking for something. We all just found him very odd. The only thing Jim wanted to talk about was his accident earlier that day. He even had the nerve to comment on the brides pregnancy, asking if she was sure she wasn't having twins because she was so big. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? Very disrespectful & unprofessional. He was asked to leave early. & I would 100% not recommended him or his business.
