Introduction: I am a graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA Graphic Design and Advertising. I have also completed two minors in Professional Writing and Public Relations. I have been working full-time in the industry since 2014 with unrelenting passion and drive. By day I work as a full-time Graphic and Packaging designer for a toy company called Just Play located in Newtown, PA. My favorite assignments have come from branding lines. There is such a joy of creating something totally unique from scratch. For already established brands, I strive to create the best options possible, while staying in budget and in line with previous work. I work on everything from graphics of a package, the dieline, structure, layout, directing photo shoots of models and product, and even work directly with Hong Kong to cost effectively package our products while providing the easiest read to a customer. I have rebranded a line called Puppy and Kitty in my Pocket for the release of Fall 2015, which was voted most wanted collectible toys of 2015 by TTPM. I have worked with licensors such as Nickelodeon, Disney, American Greetings, MEG, and Private Label brands specific to Walmart and Toys R Us. With the constant change of trends amongst children and adults alike, I always strive to make my work stand out in the most effective way possible. I also work on much larger scales such as doing showroom designs for New York Toy Fair, our Los Angeles, Florida and even Hong Kong offices. When I'm not working with my full-time job, I often find myself concocting my own creative projects. Sometimes this is for parties and events, and other times it can be testing my knowledge in the kitchen. Bottom line, I'm a dedicated designer with a drive to make an impact anywhere I go. I am open to all projects and would welcome any opportunities, so please get in touch. I'd love to hear your ideas! The impact of design on society is incredible. Not only do I see my designs on a global scale and have in commercials, but I often enjoy even doing design that maybe only one person will ever see, such as a greeting card. It truly does not matter the scale of your end result sometimes. A big part of the fun is getting there! My personal satisfaction from a nicely designed project usually is not from the finished piece alone, but the joy you can bring to someone else or a client as a whole. Design is very subjective, but when you can make your client happy as well as yourself, everything is completely worth it.
