I never had the opportunity to work with Nova Painting because the company failed to follow through with scheduling or provide a professional response.
After submitting my information, we exchanged messages about scheduling an estimate. I asked whether the appointment could be moved to an earlier time or rescheduled, but my multiple messages went unanswered. I was later told that the contractor had been in the hospital, and they apologized for not responding.
By the time they contacted me again, I had already hired another vendor. After informing them that I was no longer available, I received several messages containing repeated question marks, followed by comments suggesting I had selected the wrong vendor, and not to call them to fix a job from anyone else’s work. I was then sent an invoice for an estimate that never took place. No one from Nova Painting ever came to my home or inspected the job beyond reviewing photographs I had provided.
The excessive messaging, argumentative tone, and invoice for a service that was never performed were completely unprofessional. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Nova Painting. I also believe the platform should review whether this company should remain listed
