Introduction: COVID 19 PROGRAMMING - Please note that we will follow the social distancing and safety requirements in your area when providing our programs. Also, during the pandemic, we are offering one-hour virtual animal programs via Zoom at half off our normal fee of $150. Please contact us to schedule a virtual program for $75. We share the same animals during our virtual program as we would if we were with you in person. We explain each animal and answer any questions. Our base fee for a live, in-person animal program lasting up to 90 minutes is $150, plus a reasonable travel fee for programs outside of our service area. We will provide the mileage fee when you contact us to schedule a program. Our geckos, bearded dragons, blue tongue skinks, snakes, tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, insects and other animals are very unique and interesting. Children and adults love touching and holding them and they learn a great deal from their interactions with our animals. Our presenters are very knowledgeable about our critters and they enjoy helping people understand and appreciate our fascinating animals. We specialize in making each program we offer a fun and educational experience. Our presenters are respectful and caring, as we help the children and adults enjoy our animals in ways that are comfortable for them. We enjoy watching the faces of children light up as they hold one of our snakes or geckos for the first time and in helping both children and adults overcome their apprehensions about holding or touching our animals Our mission is to educate people about the proper care of animals and to understand and respect all living creatures.

Our event was a huge success and the kids had an amazing time with all the animals! Critter Connections was responsive, professional, punctual and knowledgeable. We had a large group of kids (about 25), and one handler managed everything great.

She arrived on time and was very friendly with the kids. This is a very awesome activity for the kids to keep them busy while you are doin other things. But kicker is, you are so into the show you won't lol.

I called on Mike on Monday to ask if he could come to my grandsons birthday 5 days later with his critters. The kids and parents loved his education and sharing of his animals. Rabbit, Guinea Pig, various tortoises, a turtle, geckos, bearded dragon, tarantula, small and large snakes and a toad. He showed everyone how loving all critters are. I highly recommend him and his fee was amazing and well worth it!

Mike was great! He used to be a teacher and so he knew exactly how to keep our kids under control while letting them have a safe, fun and entertaining experience. Our kids are 6-11 years old. Mike brought out a number of different reptiles and explained a little bit about each one to the kids and then the kids got to hold and pet them. Kids loved it. Thanks Mike.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is very easy to understand. For some jobs our manager, Mike, will work with our clients to choose an affordable program to meet their needs. Please visit our web site for more information. During the COVID-19 restrictions we offer a one-hour, virtual program on Zoom with our live animals for $75, which is 50% off of our fee for a live, in-person program.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer will contact us, provide their information, and Mike will provide a brief description of the program we will provide, including a price quote. When the customer approves the program, Mike will schedule it and send a confirmation. Payment is due that day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our presenters read all the time and watch educational television programs about animals, their characteristics, habitats, etc. They also study articles on the internet in order to deepen their knowledge of animals.
