Introduction: I work with my clients to understand the messages they want to send with their appearance and I tailor my services to meet their needs. I am just not a personal stylist but also a trained life coach which is a unique mix of talent and experience. I truly believe that a woman is more than a picture in a mirror - she is a unique individual and her true beauty comes out only when she is her authentic self. We all want to look good on the outside, feel good on the inside, and then we can focus on putting our best self forward! I have 35 years of experience in the corporate world and have 1st hand knowledge of how important it is to make a good 1st impression - sometimes you only have 15 seconds on an elevator! I also realized how important it was for me to know I looked good! It gave me the inner confidence I needed to do my job well and face the everyday challenges! I love helping women feel good about themselves. I am so pleased when a client tries a new style or way to accessorize and says "I look amazing and feel beautiful, I never would have thought of trying this!" This is why I started this business - it is my passion and what I want to do. After working so long in the corporate world fighting my way to the top, I am now able to do exactly what makes me feel happy. I am a very fortunate lady!

Absolutely a must have service for all women! I had been dreaming about hiring a personal stylist for years and last month actually made it a reality. Right from the start I was extremely impressed with Kathy's knowledge, follow-up and dedication to my needs (and timeline). I wanted a sounding board...confidence booster...and most of all, honest feedback on what my current style/dress was saying about me. Although I do not think I am superficial...our body language, posture and dress says a lot about 'us'. After staying home with my son for almost 2 years I knew I had to take charge of my closet. Kathy's approach to style is very scientific. Through conversations, quizzes and color analysis we determined the look that I not only LOVED but fit into my budget AND lifestyle. During the day I am speaking clinically to professionals, possibly dancing some zumba in the early evening and playing with Thomas the Train Bath Toys before dinner...needless to say I not only wanted but NEEDED a flexible and manageable wardrobe. Whether you meet with Kathy for an hour or sign-up for her full service boutique experience, she is well worth every penny. Not only is she fashionable and trendy she knows a good bargain when she sees one. Kathy was incredible at helping me reorganize not only my closet but my life. After the birth of my daughter my house and life felt like it got turned upside down. I'm so glad I found Kathy! I was tired of looking at a closet full of black,shapeless clothes. Even with a closet full of clothes I was never satisfied with the way I looked. I knew women that looked great no matter the occasion, and I wanted to know their secret. A friend recommended I meet Kathy and I'm so glad I did.Kathy helped me identify my personal style and provided very practical strategies for building a wardrobe that worked for me. I started making changes right away. Using Kathy's advice I'm shopping smarter. I know which colors which colors are most flattering on me and how to dress for my shape. I'm clearing my closet of clothes that don't work for me. It's a great feeling! Getting ready in the morning is so much easier! Kathleen was very helpful and encouraging as we went through an analysis of my style and colors. We also did some shopping where we discussed which clothing styles work best with my body type. Kathleen was very easy and fun to work with and made me comfortable right away even though I was a bit self-conscious at first. She has a great sense of humor that mixes just right with a professional approach to helping women with little things that make a big difference in self-esteem and self-perception. I highly recommend her to women of all ages to get a very helpful, objective, and scientific boost. I'm very happy with her help and plan to check back in periodically to make sure I'm on track!

I started working with Kathleen Kostrzewa in the fall of 2014. I happened to be at the time of my life when I wanted to move forward and make some changes. Kathleen encouraged me on how to set some time limitations and set some attainable goals. This turned into some very positive outcomes. I look forward to working with her also in the New Year of 2015 to also be successful in moving forward in a more positive aspect of my accomplishements. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do charge approximately $95 per hour. I spend way more hours on a woman than I charge! I am also willing to negotiate based on the circumstances. I donate a lot of my time providing pro bono services if I find someone who really needs my help and can't afford the $95 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk to the client on the phone to get a general sense of what they need. I then send them a questionnaire which they complete to be discussed in a 30 minute complimentary session. This is best done face-to-face if possible. If I can help the client and they want to hire me, then we agree on the services, costs, and schedule the sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Style Coach from the Style Coaching Institute® in London. I also worked for 35 years for large global companies - the last 20 years leading large transformational projects. This helped me hone my leadership and coaching skills because as a project manager I depended on many people feeling good about working with me! Here is where I honed many skills - coaching, relationship building, time management, delegation, achieving difficult goals, persistence, etc.
