- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, the lessons are $30/half-hour or $55/hour. Lessons are typically scheduled once per week. Lesson payments are made monthly and both cash or check are accepted.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During your (or your child's) first lesson, we start nice and easy -- working at your pace -- and cover enough of the basics so that you can actually start playing on the very first lesson. I also get a good feel for your own strengths, weaknesses, and learning style so that I can customize your lessons specifically to you. Everyone learns differently; I'll find what works best for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a B.M. degree from Berklee College of Music (summa cum laude) and over 33 years' experience as a private music educator.
