- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been designing and creating since elementary school. My Mom still has the muslin priests gown I designed and colored with my 6th grade class. It was for the Easter mass at church. It was then I learned that purple represented royalty. To this day it's my favorite color. Everyone can dream, right!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Color consulting, furniture arrangement, collection grouping, picture hanging and of course painted faux finishes. I even shop for unusual pieces to complement the look.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I illustrated and painted a mural for a local restaurant. When I was done the owner of the restaurant called me to say a customer that came in that day and was very impressed and excited about my work. That customer was an art professor at Rhode Island School of design. Yay!
