FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We base our initial retainer on how many hours of work we reasonably believe that your case will require. Our goal is to get the price close, so there are no surprises later. Everyone's case is different, but the processes can be similar. Your expected outcome is also a factor, as it may require more hours to achieve your specific goal. This is why we offer a free consultation. If you decide that hiring a lawyer is not an investment that you are prepared to make, there is no obligation, and you owe nothing. With that said, you'd be surprised how affordable Mesiti Law is over other attorneys.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. Every year our lawyers complete at least 10 hours of continuing legal education.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
SHOP AROUND! Lawyers will vary in price, sometimes drastically, but the price should only be one factor. There is no substitute for experience. You need to be comfortable with the person whom you choose to represent your interests. In much the same way you choose a doctor, you need to feel like you're in good hands with your lawyer.
