- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a 200. consultation fee which includes a meeting with you in your home and a comprehensive, room by room staging plan. This plan would outline how I will stage the home, room by room, with itemized pricing of each item for rent or purchase. If they choose not use my personal services then they may keep the instructions. There is no obligation to keep the book. If they choose to use my personalized services, I will then complete staging the home at a rate of $50/hour or 20% of the total stage depending on scope and size of the home/stage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Thumbtack customers, I will reply to your request and the price I quote includes a free, one hour consultation. I'll take measurements, tour the home and assess the architecture/style of the home. Install is generally a week after the meeting. A full stage is eight hours. A half day stage (three rooms and under is four hours).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of RESA (Real Estate Staging Association)and attend monthly webinars to better my business. I also have perpetually some sort of design book, magazine or catalog in my hand. I follow fifteen different designers work and trends. I attend yearly home trade shows in Boston and Providence.
