I am in the process of rehabbing an old beach cottage and I had the original 1925 front door that I had contacted Larry to give me a quote on a restoration. He not only gave me a quote but gave me three quotes. Restore, purchase a new door or have a replica made. He explained all options and I chose to have a replica made out of mahogany which I thought I would have stained. He showed me hardware choices if the old hardware didn’t clean up well and sent me pics, I picked out new brass hardware. He also sent me pics all during the process. The color of the natural wood was just so pretty he really wanted me to think about just polyurethane to keep the beauty of the wood and drove to meet me to give me a piece of the wood to look at wet to see what it would look like poly’d! Which I loved! He brought the door to the business that does the poly as he doesn’t provide that service. He also recommended new glass for the door instead of repurposing the original as it wasn’t energy efficient, and also beefed up the panels on the door for energy efficiency! I also purchased a new beautiful full glass panel storm/screen door to protect my beautiful new front door! From the removal of the old door to take back to the shop, the temporary plywood lockdown to the hanging of the new doors it was a great experience! The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I had gotten. I love my new doors!

I enjoyed working with Larry on the build out and install of our storm door, and his workmanship was impeccable. Although it was a small project, he treated us with the same respect as any other project would get. I would be more than happy to work with him again on any other projects around our home. Larry was very knowledgeable and professional. He was very prompt and his pricing is fair. I would highly recommend him.
