In my business, I prioritize delivering an exceptional customer experience and providing quality photos with a quick turnaround. The session fee includes a beautiful online gallery. You will be able to select your favorite 10 photos for editing, and download. You may additional purchase more photos, up to the full gallery. Your gallery is guaranteed to be hosted for six months. Your photos will be delivered in high-resolution suitable for printing.
Pricing starts at $175 for an hour session in Providence. Different pricing applies to events exceeding an hour. While I prefer Providence and Boston, I'm open to travel for the right gigs.
Although I don't have a studio presently, rental options are available if needed. Please note that this is an additional cost to the session fee and may require additional planning time. Peerspace and Airbnb are great places to explore.

It was wonderful having Sam take our maternity photos. He helped us find poses that were original, he was calm, professional, timely, and flexible about the venue too. I would recommend him very highly to anyone wanting professional photographs at a great price!

Sam was an amazing photographer and took great care of my husband and I on our wedding day! He arrived right on time as scheduled and was able to blend in to the chaos that occurred throughout the day. He was communicative and asked if there were any photos we wanted, as well as prioritized details that meant so much to us. Additionally, he adjusted accordingly to our little hiccups (forgetting my husbands suit) as well as weather issues (the WIND that day) and our photos are absolutely beautiful. I cannot recommend him enough!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair, and no surprises. I charge for the photoshoot fee, if there is travel involved, I do charge for transportation, and time. 50% deposit, with the remainder due at the time of the photoshoot. Additional cost would be any additional editing (not including a basic light retouch), photo downloads, beyond the agreed upon free downloads, and any prints.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you choose to work with me, and we have agreed upon a available time, I will email an invoice for deposit, and contract, both of which are required to reserve your booking. Final payment will be due at the time of the shoot. We can set up a video call to review the project you envision, and brainstorm ideas, locations, possible challenges to the project. During your photoshoot, I will coach as needed. We laugh, have some fun. I aim for a quick turnaround time. Before you know it, you'll receive a link to your private online gallery in your email. You choose the photos you love. No hard sales.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied film photography, as part of my art studies at RIC. I'm a proud member of Professional Photographers of America (PPA). I receive continual training through PPA, and The Orion Photography Group to keep on top of trends, and technology.
