Arturo was able to accommodate our paint job with very little notice. He and his co-worker stayed until we were completely satisfied. Highly recommended.

Arturo and team showed up to help get a job done after another painter cancelled on us at the last minute. They were a huge help and did a quality job quickly.

Had a full exterior of the house done, it was quality work from some young faces. The manager who talked to me and handled the team was very courteous and kind while the painters were relatively quiet but they were efficient so I can't really complain about that. The final walk around that the manager does is very reassuring since I wasn't entirely sure on the quality I would get before it was finished but he made sure to get my perspective on how I wanted things to look before they called it a done job. I got the quality of work that I was looking for so I'm happy.

We ended up hiring Collegiate for two large projects, but if I had to do it again, I would choose someone else. The work was completed as promised, but took longer than planned, some items initially discussed turned out not to be included in the initial bid (we also added a few on as the work progressed, which of course was our fault), and despite my warnings that our floors had just been refinished, I didn't feel that they took much care to protect them--some areas still have paint drips and wipe marks that I'm working to remove. In our basement, where they were able to use a spray gun to paint since the floor had been removed, they left areas where you can see the drywall through the paint. By then, though, I had pretty much decided that it was better and easier just to let them "finish" and then do touch ups afterwards myself, especially because it felt like they were less and less interested in the work by then (example: painting without removing outlet covers? really?). If you don't have a huge scope of work, they are probably fine. For us, I'd say that they got us about 85% of the way to our goals for the projects they were hired for (wallpaper removal--which was done quite well, painting--which was okay but messy, and new drywall in our basement--which we are already having touched up / re-skimmed in places). They did work to help us meet our budget for the projects, though, which we appreciated.
