Introduction: Hi! My name is Kirby Anderson. I am a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. I am also a certified kickboxing and step aerobics instructor through Body Training Systems, along with being a TRX certified instructor. I offer in-home personal training to people of all ages and fitness levels. I bring all equipment needed for sessions. There is no house or apartment that is too small; trust me! I can help with cardiovascular, muscular strength and flexibility and joint mobility, and I also offer one-on-one boxing sessions. My training style varies from boot camp-type workouts to light soft tissue work with foam rolling and yoga/Pilates inspired stretching. I offer small group training and also love working with kids who need to get moving but aren't interested in playing after-school sports. Also, I very much enjoy working with elderly clients. Helping them regain a range of motion in their joints, strengthen their muscles and alleviate stiffness is very rewarding for me. I have a history of helping clients overcome disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, and I am also very familiar with working with clients who suffer from fibromyalgia and other debilitating ailments. I can honestly say that I am fantastic at what I do. If you give me 100% effort, I guarantee 100% results. Being on the United States Olympic Team for 4 years and placing 4th in the country gives you an idea of my dedication and drive. I hope to meet with you soon. I have been working out alongside Kirby for almost a year now. I find her to be very knowledgeable and diverse with the workouts she creates. Kirby pays close attention to form, which maximizes results for the client as well as keeps the chance of injury to a minimum. She is definitely a "master of her craft" and is genuinely invested in seeing positive results in her clients. She also stresses nutrition as well as exercise, and can create a meal plan based on a clients needs, as well as give advice on how to overcome any nutrition hurdles a client may have. Kirby defines the "personal" in what you expect from a personal trainer.

Kirby is a great personal trainer! She customizes the workout and overall plan for health based on what you need. I would highly recommend her. It is more like working out with a friend. A friend who knows what you should be doing and does not let you quit.

I've been working with Kirby for a short while, but have known her as a trainer for a few years. Kirby is highly motivating and good at what she does. I have some physical challenges, and Kirby always works around them so that I always feel better after our workouts. If you're looking for someone to kick your butt into gear, she's the right trainer for you.

Kirby has been my personal trainer for 3 months now. I'm down 25 pounds to date and am living a heathier lifestyle. She has opened my eyes to it's not being on a "diet" but just having a healthier lifestyle. I can still have my ice cream or pizza but it's moderation and balancing out your day accordingly. She is tough but pushes you to be the best you can be! Her workouts range in variety so you don't get bored and best of all, you see results!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

The most common jobs I get are people looking to lose/maintain weight, have more energy, and aleviate chronic pain. I have had numerous clients in the past free themselves of medications and kick disease all together. The clients that stick out in my head the most over the past 5 years are the ones that came to me hating exercise and actually learning to enjoy it. What can I say, I make fitness fun!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for honesty and sincerity. Also, look for someone who you enjoy spending time with. Your Personal Trainer is someone who you will be spending a lot of time with. So it is important that you respect them and trust them.
