Carleen DeSisto helped us with the design for two bathrooms, a master bath/shower and a shower room. She was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, initially giving us a wide range of options and then assisting us to narrow them down based on our style and preferences, including a color consult and assisting in wall color options. Carleen helped us find and work with local cabinet, tile and paint suppliers. She brought samples to the house and was able to show us design elements and tile patterns on her computer to give us a general sense of the proposed finished design. Because she also left designs at the suppliers, the selection and installation of these elements was greatly expedited. Also Carleen's experience with lighting styles helped us to select the best fixtures for our design needs. We would highly recommend Carleen as a designer for home improvement projects.

My husband and I moved into a condo and decided to start fresh with furnishings. The open floor plan included a large main room that spacious, but longer than wider. While I had an idea of how I wanted the room to look, I was unsure how to achieve it. My real estate agent recommended contacting Carleen and it turned out to be a wonderful suggestion. Carleen visited our home and listened as I told her what type of layout I was envisioning and what type of furnishings and styles I liked. Carleen was an excellent listener and after deciding we could work together she left with the promise of returning with potential layouts, furniture choices, and fabric samples. Carleen returned after a week or so armed with computer layouts, fabric swatches, and furniture catalogs. Carleen spent a great deal of time with me, making suggestions, answering questions, and guiding me through the process of making my vision a reality. Carleen would end up creating a den/conversation space/office area that fulfilled and surpassed my expectations. The room is the entry to our home and the focal point and has been a source of pleasure for both my husband and I, as well as our guests. We have had many compliments on the layout, the furnishings, and the lovely color scheme. Carleen also helped me to design and purchase window treatments for a bay window and two sliders, each design complimenting the interior design of the rooms. Carleen was professional, prompt, organized and dependable in every way, while still being friendly and putting both me and my husband at ease throughout the whole process. I could not ask for a better professional and person to work with and I highly recommend her for her professionalism, creativity, and dedication to her clients. Any time I need help with any sort of decorating in the future Carleen will be the first and only call I'll make.
