Women's Safety Project

Introduction: Anne Kuzminsky is a professional violence prevention advocate and self-defense instructor. She specializes in educating people about their personal safety and empowering them to become their own best protectors. She served as Director-at-Large for Self Defense for the National Women's Martial Arts Federation (nwmaf.org) and is certified by this organization to teach women's self-defense (nwmaf.org/find-a-self-defense-instructor). She holds a BS from Yale University in Psychobiology, a 7th degree black belt in the Martial Arts, and has extensive violence prevention training. She offers seminars and workshops to businesses, schools, and community groups, and has a particular interest in serving women and girls. Anne's programs feature a framework for understanding violence, along with instruction and practice in psychological, verbal, and physical self-protection strategies. The cost for a 3 hour introductory class open to the community is typically $55 - $65 person, and mothers and daughters frequently attend together. Corporate and non-profit group rates are available.
