FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly researching the latest on club/shaft design and how it effects not only the flight of the golf ball but the effect it has on the golfers swing. Continued research in how the body works; what it can do and what it cannot do. The biomechanics of the swing as well as the body regarding what causes someone to have trouble with either hitting a particular shot or why they continually have nagging injuries. These are just some of the things I continue to research above and beyond what industry standards are for continued education.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Measure and fit golf clubs, device workout programs, periodize practice plans, modify swing mechanics and do so so that all of these are integrated. There must be a marriage of all five in order for the golfer to achieve maximum improvement.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When choosing a golf instruction be sure to select one that knows not only the mechanics of the swing but how other parts of the game relate to and effect your swing. How does your body type effect what swing theory you should use? What are the effects of clubs ill fit to you? Is the information being given to you in a way you can understand, adapt and implement to improve your game? Are you able to integrate the information you are given in a timely manner? All of these things, and more, go into great instruction and with great instruction comes great golf.
