Introduction: Seeking a pet sitter position in order to take advantage of my genuine love for all animals of all kinds, and my concern for their health and well-being. I am available to help out by providing extended pet and home care for short term or regular basis. I am there during the day and do overnights as well. Making sure your pets are safe, happy and getting lots of attention, pet owners often comment on how quickly their dogs and cats warm up to me. Parrots require a bit more work and don't like strangers, so I was very nervous. However, Roxanne come over twice before per my request to meet my babies and go over their nightly routine. During our vacation she communicated every time she was at my home and reassured me everyone was good. She even sent pictures and spent some one on one time with my parrot. Ultimately I selected a friend's daughter who was able to house and pet sit while I was away. Even though I ultimately selected someone else because it was more in line with what met my needs at the time Roxie was courteous and gracious. Considering she came over 2 hours round trip to assess and discuss the job I was impressed by how gracious and magnanimous she was about it. She even offered to fill in if the party I engaged fell through or if there were problems. She even followed up after my trip to ensure that things went well. I even offered to pay for her trip out because of the distance and she insisted that it wasn't necessary and was part of the process. Very impressed. Wouldn't hesitate to hire her if needed in the future. If she works this hard without being paid, I can imagine she works even harder when you are her client. Well done! My late wife and Roxy found each other several years ago and we knew that we couldn’t do any better. Roxy is the only person that we would allow to stay in our home overnight let alone extended periods. We like and trust her so much we bought her an extra firm mattress like she likes for overnights and extended stays. As much as we treasure Roxy, our fur babies, especially our lab/border collie Gabby, absolutely adore her. In fact when I tell her Roxy is coming, she gets so excited she starts smiling, whining and pushing me to the door. Lol Quite honestly, I think that is the best testament to Roxy’s care, honesty, personality, trustworthiness and respect than I could ever give.
