Introduction: Oh my goodness hey guys!!! My name is Amberlyn and I’m a military wife and photographer. As a little girl I loved playing cameras and learning all about them growing up, but my career all started on an extravagant trip to Central America with a couple of my girl friends, where a seed was planted and really never lost its footing. Since then, I have approached every shoot with spirit, creativity, and so much LOVEEEEE!!! For me a photoshoot is more than just simply standing and snapping a photo. It is seizing the energy and light given off by my clients by spinning around, running in place awkwardly, rolling around in a big open field. I hired Amberlyn for my proposal in Olympic National Park and for engagement photos the following day. She did an amazing job setting up and completing the shoot as I imagined it. There was a small logistical issue that once she was made aware, she went above and beyond to make sure the pictures went according to plan. There are not enough stars to truly give Amberlyn the rating she deserves. I hired her to capture my proposal at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole process leading up to the proposal. I was quite particular about how i wanted the proposal to happen and she was very accommodating. She got to the proposal site early and even scoped out a beautiful and scenic area for additional pictures after the proposal. She captured the moment PERFECTLY and the pictures afterwards are stunning. Her turnaround time for providing the photos to us was super quick as well. Not only is her photography skills amazing, but she is so fun to work with! I always felt like i was in very good hands. I would highly recommend Amberlyn to anyone!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge 250$ as my flat rate for portraits, and 250$ for engagement shoots! Weddings are 300$ an hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm actually very outgoing, so my first mission is to make you feel as comfortable as possible going into a shoot where you do not know your photographer. I like to create a relationship with my clientele and stay in touch. I'm a very happy person, I am very patient, and I am not afraid to get down and dirty to capture the shot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
College of Charleston for Marine biology and I am minoring in photography; so some classes and lessons. I plan to travel all over and make a name for myself some how. If you want to plan a trip, and we go traveling to take some great photos i wouldn't mind that at all. I'm very adventurous.
