Pricing is tailored to the project
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Design Process: Step One: The Initial Meeting During this meeting we would discuss the budget and your vision and establish the goals and wishes that suit your needs. Step Two: Survey and Agreement Once we have agreed to work together, we will schedule a meeting to discuss more in depth what changes and additions you are wanting. With this being a renovation, I would also set a time to meet with the contractor. Next, measurements are taken or blueprints are given, and colors & materials are discussed. An estimate of the number of hours that will be required to design your home will be given to you after this meeting. Step Three: Design Plan & Presentation With the information gathered during step two, I would then develop a custom design plan for your space based on a combination of your goals and our vision. A presentation would be made to you that would include a floor plan, paint colors, flooring samples, fabric, furniture selections and any other materials we recommend. Then, at this point, the design is tweaked and/or approved into a final design plan. Step Four: Implementation Once the designs are approved, furnishings and materials will be ordered and we will coordinate with contractors through the project to make sure all the needs of the project are being met. I will be present throughout the project for questions, arranging deliveries, and assisting the architect & contractors as needed. Step Five: Accessorizing The final step in creating your custom space! We will accomplish this by adding those final touches that will complete the space, a renovation that's personal and completely "you." Compensation: An hourly fee of $100 will be billed during the construction and design phases. If my clients choose to purchase furniture through the vendors I have accounts with, I do a 35% mark up on net pricing as well as offer my designer discount to many local stores as well as online retailers.
