FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by a professional mover when I first started. He had to have at least 30+ years of experience. He taught me how to properly wrap and shrink every piece of furniture. Basically told me to 'treat the furniture like its your own'. That's how I work now. I've sponged in so much information and put my own twist to it. I treat my business like it's my baby. I treat the customers furniture like it's coming and going to my house.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working for a moving company about 5 years ago here in Atlanta. I loved the mixture of customer service and working out. I mean, lifting heavy furniture up and down steps is a pretty good workout if you ask me. I enjoy everything bit of it. To see how happy yet surprised the customers we moved were pushed me into wanting my own company. I'm all about customer service. I love helping people and if I can help someone by moving them, then that's what I'm willing to do. Thus, the moving company, The Perfect Move.
