- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined by the customers budget, what their need is - a 30 or 60 commercial, a short telephone message, a lengthy narration of a certain length, etc. All of these things have an impact on the price. Of course, prices are negotiable within reason.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I write, voice and produce radio commercials - also voice TV commercials, telephone voicemail prompts, video & internet narrations, pre-recorded speaker introductions for company meetings and more. In short, anything that requires a professional voice.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't simply settle for the first voice you hear. While there are many real, experienced pros, there are also thousands of pretenders and beginners in the business who lack the equipment and skills to deliver a quality product for your use. Like any other business, the cheapest, in the long run, could end up costing you more money when the work has to be redone by a true professional.
