Rehab Pilates and Health Coaching has transformed my health in 4 months! I was healthy and strong just 3 short years ago but after going back to work full time in a completely sedentary job, I found myself overweight and feeling much older than my 46 years. When I began training with Patti Jo, I could not do the simplest of tasks, like bending over to feed the dogs, without pain in my hips and lower back. Patti Jo has been an amazing counselor, coach and encourager every step of the way. In the beginning when I couldn't correctly do one squat (with no weights), she always said just the right thing at just the right time to help me not get discouraged and keep moving toward my goals. She focuses on the entire body and helps me see how every single choice I make can have a positive or negative effect on my health, then she gives me the tools I need to make the positive choices. Each time we train, I am amazed at what my body can now do. Her equipment is top notch and her expertise in proper use and form has made all the difference for me. I am now functionally fit and well on my way to being the healthy and strong person I was 3 years ago. I cannot say enough about how pleased I am with Rehab Pilates and Health Coaching and I recommend this business to anyone looking to become healthier.

I came to her with issues of stress and back pain, and I am pleased to say that she has helped me enormously with both in her Tension Release and Pilates classes. The Pilates Studio is a dedicated apparatus studio, equipped with a universal reformer trap table combo, wunda chair, step ladder barrel (equipment by Balanced Body), wall springs, mat space, and resistance-based training accessories. A resistance-based training creates lengthened, flexible muscles that are toned and not bulky. Pilates is a gentle form of exercise focusing on strength and flexibility of the core (the deep abdominals and muscles of the low back), to improve postural alignment, balance and coordination of the whole body. There are many different options for practicing pilates. I believe it is important to address each person individually. This allows me to develop programs that meet unique and specific needs, and allows you to gain competency and confidence in the fundamental principles of pilates. Pilates is appropriate for everyone. People of all ages and fitness levels are welcome. I encourage all new clients to begin with private sessions. After gaining competency with the fundamental exercises, you may choose to work in pairs with a partner or friend (duet session).
