- What types of customers have you worked with?
With the amount of experience our staff has, we are able to offer therapeutic and relaxation massage (with or without acupuncture) that our spa clients and guests can truly acknowledge an immediate change in their body and mind relaxation quotient or actually fix body problems, such as sciatica or chronic shoulder and neck problems. We work on these sort of issues on a daily basis. Having a trained Ashiatsu practitioner on staff and a licensed Acupuncturist furthers the extent to how we are able to provide help and healing to our clients.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Several years ago, a Hilton Head Island client purchased a therapeutic massage series from our spa. Since foot reflexology remains extremely beneficial for body imbalances, I also included foot reflexology in all of her sessions. Every time I would get to the ankle area, she was in terrible discomfort. She asked me what that area represented and I told her it was the fallopian tubes and, "did she want me to continue"? Her reply was "Yes", and this went on for some weeks! She stopped coming in and I had no idea what became of her. A year and a half later, I saw her sister in law and asked how my previous client was doing and what had become of her. I was concerned and hoped I had done well by her too. Her sister in law told me she had become pregnant and had a lovely little girl and felt the foot reflexology had helped her conceive. Though she did not come to me for female problems, apparently, the foot reflexology was indeed helpful. I was very pleased for her and her family and especially happy that in the end, all was well. Foot reflexology is an ancient healing art and I am continually humbled with the power of its abilities. Sincerely Dorine Bucci
