Do you need the assistance of a superb photographer? I did. You see, I love to take pictures and, for ages, have wanted to be more than a point-and-shooter. Again and again, I tried to learn about the inner workings of the camera on my own. I ended up either procrastinating or stumbling over many a block. Frustrated, I tried to find a class. None was offered at the time in this area, but I was put in touch with Jean-Marie Coté. I soon learned he is good-humored, ever so patient, and considerably talented. Over several weeks he taught me about the importance of f-stops, ISO's, and shutter speeds, not to mention every other intricacy found in my camera. I'm known for asking a lot of questions. Jean-Marie answered every one with ease, always making me feel that my most basic questions were as important as my most complex. Indeed, he kept me motivated to learn, in my opinion, the equivalent of Sanskrit. The bottom line? My photographic skills have noticeably improved and I am far more enthusiastic about all aspects of photography. Such success is certainly due to his expert mentoring. Consider yourself lucky if you also get in touch with Jean-Marie Coté whether for training or for commercial photographic work.

Jean-Marie Cote is professional in every way, but he adds a personal touch that makes him delightful to work with. He is a true artist with the ability to apply his sense of design, composition and technical skill to any photographic situation. He did a great job capturing portraits and group shots for my organization's event. He provided high resolution and low resolution files for use in any medium. Turnaround time was only a couple of days. He is well-respected and highly sought after for his services in this community.

We worked with Jean-Marie for a location photo-shoot for a new print advertisement. His skill as a photographer combined with his technical setup, whereby we could view images in real time within the layout of the Ad, ensured a very successful shoot and final result. We were delighted with the experience all around.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is very simple, it depends on the work to be done, the licensing agreement and distribution. For prints, I have a standard investment list for photo book, albums and regular prints as well as framed pictures or canvas print.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost - a discussion about the needs and wants from the customers over the phone or in person when possible. This has two folds: get to know each other to make sure that we mutually feel that we are entering into a good business relationship and that there is no "misunderstanding" from each part.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a member of PPA (Professional Photographer of America) I am taking advanced online courses to stay on top of new techniques and technology.
