- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes. It is on my profile under quotes. I do offer a discount for pre-paid services. It is 10% for everyone. I accept cash and checks or payment via PayPal. No credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I receive a request for a quote. I need the clients phone number, email address and dates of service in the details of the request. I email the client the pet information sheets prior to a meet and greet. I set up a meet and greet with the client. I go out to their home and meet their pets and discuss their needs and schedules for feeding, walks, meds, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken training classes with my pets. I am a volunteer with animal groups and I have first hand- hands on knowledge of pet care. Back in the 1980's I had a pet sitting service in Matthews, NC. I am a background approved Pro by Thumbtack. I am a member of the Myrtle Beach Citizens Police Academy Alumni and have completed their 10 week course. I also am a fundraiser for the Myrtle Beach Police K-9 Department, securing new K-9 Storm vests for the three apprehension dogs, Coax, Beck and Yep. I am also an NC Guardian Ad Litem. I have been thoroughly vetted.
