FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't do 'one size fits all' pricing. I price my work for each customer on a 'per customer' basis. I've been known to give a lot more than I get paid for, and that stems from wanting to be more than fair and from wanting to deliver the best work possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First things first - I listen to the client... carefully! I then ask a lot of questions and take the time to understand their overall goals and immediate needs. Once I have a clear understanding of the client's needs, I assess the market in which they want to compete and I look for any competitive advantage I can find that will give my client an edge over their competitors. From there, I begin creating site designs (usually graphic mockups) of the site for the client to evaluate. Once we've settled on a direction for the design, I begin building the production site. Once the site has been built, tested across as many devices as possible (desktops, notebooks, tablets, mobile devices, etc) and it passes those tests, I then get the final approval and sign-off from my client to launch the site. It should also be noted that prior to the launch of the site it will have been optimized for conversion, fully SEO'd and ready to start getting traction in Google search results. In other words, my sites hit the ground running and are built from square one to get results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
