FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked mostly with clients involved in the Public Relations & Marketing of their company and their brand. I also do an extensive amount of work on Capitol Hill, photographing Congressional members in their day to day workings. In addition, I've worked with some amazing couples on engagement sessions & weddings. I have extensive diversity within my portfolio, which shows through in my personality and my love for any new challenge that awaits my lens.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest requesting from the photographer that you see a "full edit" of images from one specific event / wedding. What you see on our websites are obviously / hopefully going to be nothing but fantastic work. If you really want to get a feel for how the person behind the camera will cover your event, request a full album so you can see how they handle every part of an event from capturing emotions --> overall room shots --> details --> keynote speakers --> crowd reactions --> posed shots --> candid shots ....overall lighting, composition, color.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think past the $. I know it's hard, but focus on the end product and how much it is worth to your company. Look at the work and determine a photographers style and get to know them as a person––call them on the phone––see if they match you. And then decide.
