Introduction

I've been capturing weddings for 10+ years, specializing in stylized portraits and candid photojournalism. I think this is the best approach to capture everything in each unique wedding day. I want to tell each couple's story, so they can relive the most special day of their lives over and over again. I love getting to know couples, hearing about their stories, and having fun while taking their photos! I'm the happiest when I hear back from couples that I captured a precious moment they would've missed, or that I made them feel at ease in front of the camera.

First off, Kate's infectious laugh will get you through your big day no matter how hectic it gets (for me that included the dog getting into the cake pops at home just a few hours before we walked down the aisle- thank God for Kate and all my bridesmaids for calming me down as the husband cleaned that one up)! Kate is a very organized and punctual businesswoman, on top of being an incredible photographer. She had a party following the guys as they prepared/goofed off and for us ladies, and the full ensemble reconnected at the ceremony and reception. We have some large prints framed in the house, including a panoramic of the bridal party, and all the images are sharp, clear and so colorful! Kate also photographed my sister's wedding before mine so I already knew that decision for me would be easy. I also did a one on one photo shoot, and again, great time and amazing photos. Her prices are very competitive, and totally worth it. I'm only sad that Kate isn't up here in the Philly area full time, as the Carolinas are very blessed to have her talent available there now!

I offer several branches of photography, including weddings, boudoir, portraits, and commercial work for local businesses. Weddings, boudoir, and portraits have collections and the commercial work will be a custom quote depending on the unique job. Just inquire and I will help you out!

Wedding photography, engagement sessions, boudoir photography, portraits, band photography, fine art, commercial and editorial fashion photography.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the photographer you hire "clicks" with you! For most weddings, you will be working with them for the entire day of your big event, so you need to be on the same page and feel comfortable with them around!
