FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being Southern and raised in Charleston, we are bred to be the ultimate hostess. Party planning just comes naturally. My photography started when I was younger and I always had a camera with me. I still do that now. I have one in my car all the time and I have another that I use for regular shots and then I have a fancy one with lenses that I shoot with for bigger things. My marrying people came from being a notary and my cousin wanted me to marry her and her husband. It was so much fun that I started to do more of them and, eventually, became an Ordained Minister. Whether you want non-denominational, spiritual or whatever, I can come up with a ceremony to suit you, with your input of course :)
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Small businesses have more time to devote to you than large companies and are better able to work in a short amount of time as well as within a budget because we do not have the overhead that the larger companies do. Be sure that when you speak with someone, that it is not someone that just says YES to everything. You want a people person and undivided attention and someone creative working for you.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am a people person, someone that others flock to because I am easy to talk to and I listen to what people want me to know. I never try to force anything upon anyone and I work all the time, so I am always available to answer any question, although you may have to text me. I have heard everything, so it would be refreshing to hear some wild ideas come up ! HA ! You would be amazed at what we can rent. And, I work well under pressure, so if you want to get married next month, bring it! I had a custom bouquet made within 30 minutes just by begging. Yep, I will stoop to begging if I need something. Its all about you and your needs. From wedding planning, to photography ( zit on face, bam! gone!) to officiating a wedding, I love doing it.
