I love working with my special needs children, cancer patients, and veterans with PTSD, because, when others are not able to provide help and comfort, massage can soothe in more ways than one. I give a lot of discounts. Military, local, etc. I usually have some type of special running.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always studying different modalities and keeping up with my continuing education credits.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was younger, a baby was crying in the nursery. I insisted that I could hold her and get her to stop crying. While the other worker was getting the parent, the caretaker put the baby in my arms. I sang and lovingly rubbed her legs and arms. She quit crying instantly. I have a healer's touch, and I enjoy helping others to feel better and refreshed.
