Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We have been officiating and planning weddings along the Grand Strand for over ten years. A destination, small or large wedding can be stressful because you do not know the people very well. We do. We will assist with as much or as little as you need for a ceremony that is as traditional or unique as you would like. Be it Christian or civil, large or small, traditional or non-traditional, there is no "wrong" way to do it. If, at the end of the ceremony, you say, "That was perfect!" then we have done our job. If the ceremony is meaningful and says what you want it to say, then it will be that much more special for you. Our packages include from officiant service only to full-service wedding planning and everything in between. We keep our fees reasonable, so you can put the money into what is most important to you. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. It means a lot that you trust us with this very important event in your life, and we respect and appreciate your decision to include us. Congratulations, and thank you for considering Marry in Myrtle Beach's services.

Shan does an amazing job. She is sweet and thoughtful and very knowledgeable. She was great with helping us out with creating our program and finding different prayers and passages. She is also very organized with helping us get our marriage license in order. I would highly recommend Shan Coughlin.

Hired on Thumbtack

Shan got back to us and was pleasant and willing to do our wedding ceremony. Unfortunately after the inital contacts with us she no longer responded to us. She will not respond to phone calls or emails. Guess she found someone who wanted to pay more on our date and time. What a waste of time and energy....Buyer beware!!!!!
Marry in Myrtle Beach's reply
I am very sorry that this happened. After our initial contact, there was a medical emergency in our family and I did not respond to very many emails or texts or phone calls for several days. I tried to contact his client once it was over and apologize. My other couples were very understanding and all scheduled services were performed. Their request had just come in for a wedding four months away. I am still very sorry they did not accept my apology and will not try to have this review removed since it did happen. Please know that if I do not respond, it is because of something unusual and not because I have "found someone" else. Thank you.
Wedding Officiant

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

We assist couples with their ceremony, filing the paperwork as well as coordination and planning of their wedding. We will do as much or as little as the couple needs help with.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking to hire an officiant for you wedding, remember this is YOUR special day, not theirs, and they should be willing to customize the ceremony to fit your wants. Since they do not know you well, it is up to them to work with you to make it as special as possible for you and represent what you want out of YOUR ceremony.
