Introduction
With my youngest son being born in the height of the pandemic I was forced to make some career changes in order to be a little more flexible for my family’s schedule. With the knowledge gained from doing a wide variety of residential and commercial electrical work over the past 8 years I decided to venture out on my own. I moved to N. Charleston in 9/21. I needed someone trustworthy, honest and professional and didn’t know a soul. I was fortunate enough to find Hanlon Electrical and Chris. He was so polite, respectful and helpful. I had all new light fixtures installed and he not only was ridiculously thorough, but one of the light fixtures was damaged in shipping. After checking ALL of my wiring and circuit box, outlets and switches, he determined that it wasn’t a problem with faulty wiring, but the fixture itself and DIDN’T charge me for the hours of work!!! He is a man of integrity. He even cleans up the packaging, the dust and leaves the area looking untouched. He is incredibly fastidious and measures and measures to assure a fixture is placed correctly, hanging correctly and positioned as it should be. He doesn’t cut corners and is committed to safety and a sense of job well done. He is always on time and even went above and beyond to locate a circuit board I needed for an antique dollhouse I was renovating that had faulty electrical wiring. He is the best electrician I have ever hired. I recommend him HIGHLY. A true, skilled professional. You can’t find better! Respectfully, Tara Jones

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Find out what the customer needs and let them know the steps required to achieve their goal. No one wants drywall damage when getting electrical work done, but sometimes it is inevitable. I like to make it clear to my clients how the whole project will be completed so that there are no surprises. Estimates are always free and highly suggested as it gives me a chance to see the project and give the customer the best idea of the steps involved.
