Introduction: Sending your horse to a trainer is a big decision; it's one you, as the owner, need to be very comfortable with. Owners are encouraged to ask many questions and get a good feel for the methods and training philosophy of CFTC.
We work hard to make sure that goals are stated in our training contract, and that both owner and trainer are working towards a common goal.
At CFTC, we start all horses in training with natural horsemanship methods, to cover lesson taught by Craig Cameron, Chris Cox, and Clinton Anderson, just to name a few.
We have found that certain horses respond to different techniques, and it's our experience that by combining more than one technique of training, you are able to cover more ground, but the basics are the same: "trust and respect".
CFTC maintains an open-door policy. Owners are forever welcome to come and view schooling sessions and are inspired to be active in the training of their horses. It is our belief that you are an integral part of your horse's training, and included in our training charge is a weekly class for you of either saddle or ground training; your choice.
If your horse is already broke, but needs a tuneup, we can work with them on ground manners, respect, and trust issues, trail riding, or ring work. Your goals are our goals. Call today; the space is limited.
