FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always talking to other photogrpahers and swapping ideas. Being friends with people in your field from all around is key. They are the best source of information. It is like having a class anytime you need it. I am also excited about taking some photography classes in some areas I would like to learn more about. Ex. Lighting;)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Honestly, I am have a BA is Visual Communications so I have always enjoyed being creative. I used to pick up the camera at home when I was young and just shoot. I loved to see what I could capture. Recently, My husbands company went out of business so he said I needed to look for work to help the family. With 3 kids at home, in school, activities, and family needs I couldn't just pick up and leave. So, I picked up my camera and put my passion to work. Just a couple shoots to see what I could do and my clients did the rest. They literally told All there friends about me and it was like a snow ball. I am very greatful to all my clients they are the ones who allow me to be creative, do my passion, stay home with my kids, and continue to work by spreading the word. I only work thru word of mouth so I say "let's keep talking":)
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My Most common jobs have anything to do with families. Pregnancy, Newborn, and Children,. Since my first shoots were of little kids those are who my clients/friends are passing along. However, after being in the business for 3 years I have branched out into engagement, weddings, senior photos, sports, commercial work, and parties. I love photography plain and simple:)
