FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, since the complexity of each job may vary. Typically Thumbtack quotes are subject to change since most quotes are blind quotes. When the project is described in general terms with little to no details provided at all. It is very tough to quote something you have no idea if its even possible. I typically give all my clients a break by not charging them for every minute of my time, especially if the job took longer due to my design approach.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will have a brief discussion over the phone first. Email me the specifications for my review. After my review I will then set up a Go To Meeting to review the specifications and ask any questions concerning the design. If everything is reasonable, we will come to an agreement on time allocated for the job. Payment terms, and product delivery will also be discussed. A design review will be conducted prior to payment via a Go to Meeting. If approved, payment must be made prior to emailing of finished product to client. After payment, and product delivery if there are any changes due to my oversight, I will make those changes at no additional cost. Redesign or extra features, parts or drawings will be subject to the agreed upon price. All payments willl be thru paypal or Certified Check. The original Solid Models can be provided for an additional charge.
