- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes I do. The lawns that I have a set price on are the one's that are in 5 miles from my location. The set price starts at $ 30.00 and goes up $ 5.00 every 10 miles UNTIL $ 55.00. after that it's not right for me to cut your lawn for $ 60.00 I will not do it I will go with out first. I would like to say THANK YOU FOR MY 5 STAR RATING WITH THUMBTACK. I HAVE WORKED HARD TO GET IT, BUT IT IS HARD TO KEEP. I HAVE A FEW FOR THIS YEAR BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL I HAVE. (((( TO. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I go to Tenn were my brother teaches people how to care for grass thats looks like it not doing well, sometimes it can be too much water, shard,. There are ways to help this to grow and looks as well as the hole lawn. we also learn how to plant trees and how to place them , also we learn how to put hudgens well they will look the best and sometime we even sharpen them into hearts, or ring around the truck to the top looks like a spear case. that take some time to get it looking right around a years of trimming every month on the new growth. Hearths is the one I like the most. when there to hudges next to each other we can make a out line and sharp them into a heart . I have a lot of calls to do this for Mother's day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked at a Golf courses , were I was a in Management over the Green's and the sand trap's, and the lake to keep all of the 27 holes in one of the biggest courses that I have ever seen. After I left Tennessee and came to SC. I got a job driver truck after 3 month's I was asked to take a manager at night making sure that the trailers are loaded with the wright way and the temperature was right. In 2008. The company had a 48 percent losebin business. The people that on it started let the high paid people go first I was in the 2 group laid off, I was tired of getting laid off ever 10 to 12 year's doing a 60 hours and getting paid for 45. I liked doing lawn care in Tennessee from my home town. That's were I know we the out side is were I needed to be. So in 2006 I was taking care of my Mom and the next door neighbor lawn after the car's drove by I had cars stop to see if I would like to do there lawn's that's when I know that were I needed to be in the green grass .
