I was looking for a local photographer that could shoot at the Biltmore and for a good price. After looking at Akim’s reviews and work I sent a message and quickly got a response. He was very upfront about the pricing and helped me understand his process. The day of our proposal he was very responsive and punctual which made the proposal go as planned. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a base price but I do charge for travel or if I need to get extra necessities to make the shoot as good as possible.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
General questions (date, time, what’s needed, location) so we can get a price point. After the first deposit is made everything is booked and ready to go. I may ask more questions leading up to the shoot especially if it’s a surprise proposal just so everything runs smoothly.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Started taking peoples pictures on an iPhone and I realized that I had an eye for it. Bought a camera and I was ready to take things to the next level.
