FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our Pricing is pretty complicated since each type of event is unique. We start out with base packages that gives us a place to start from. From there, depending on the package, type of event, any travel expenses, sales tax, and duration of dancing hours we can easily get you a quote. Also, each package includes free consultations to customize the packages since they are not completely a "one size fits all." Face-to-Face Consultations are Required for any Wedding Package due to the level of planning and preparation needed, and we'll travel to you if you live far away.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we try to get as much information as we can to give an accurate quote. The majority of the times its already asked in Thumbtack, with the exception of Weddings for example, it doesn't ask if you need us for the Ceremony as well with a second system so your guests in the back can hear everything. We need Event Type (Weddings w/ Ceremony or Reception Only), Date, Location, How many Dancing Hours, and eventually a Password of your choosing to access your Personalized Online Event Planning Workspace for the Event. Next, if you like the Quote and before making the decision to hire us. We prefer, though for weddings Require, to Schedule a meeting to listen to your ideas of the Event, go over any questions you had about us, and go over details of the planning of your event. If we aren't a fit, we can certainly refer you to trusted colleagues in this industry in this area. If you Decide to Hire us, We Require a Signed Entertainment Agreement (aka Contract for Service) and a 25% Down to Reserve us for the event date. Slots are limited.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Back in the day of School Band Class, one of the key things we did was Practice, Practice, a little more Practice, and to top it off: some more Practice. Practicing and Preparing for an event is key so we don't do a hash job. Also, the time spent practicing helps us learn new tricks and to also grow as a performer. We also have been Professionally trained in being Master of Ceremonies for Weddings, AND by a DJ/Karaoke Jockey team with 35 Years in the Industry, whom retired right after.
