The food was well cooked, well seasoned, and presently cleanly. Carrie and her staff were very polite and prepared for the event. They arrived on time and needed no assistance from anyone in my event to get the job done. She was more than accommodating for our vegetarian guests and went above and beyond what she set out to do.

Carrie walked us through the entire process, step by step, and made sure that we understood what we were paying for and what would be delivered. She was excellent at communicating with us, so we always knew where she was in the process. The day of our wedding, she and her team showed up promptly on time, and did an amazing job taking care of everything so we didn't have to worry. The food was outstanding, and our guests raved about the cake. Her prices are more than reasonable, and I can't imagine a more professional and wonderful caterer. Highly recommended.

Carrie has made my son's birthday cake for the past two years. I will continue to have her make any cake I ever need. These cakes are the best I have ever had. They are always a hit for their design and taste.

Carrie was very good at listening to what I thought I wanted and gave amazing suggestions. I let her be creative with the flavor and just told her I wanted something fall flavored. She blew it out of the water and made something unique and amazing! The outside was beautiful. We even had to drive the cake 9 hours away from her house to get to the wedding and she provided perfect accommodations. The cake made it in 1 piece and no one could even tell it had travelled. I can't wait for Carrie to do my next cake!

Carrie catered a small 21st birthday party for my son. The food was delicious and exactly what we ordered. Carrie was easy to work with, responsive and punctual. She made superb guacamole (really the best I've had) and the birthday cake with buttercream frosting was beautiful and delicious. My family devoured the spiced pork. An excellent experience!

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently finishing my degree in Food Science and Nutrition (MAY 2016!) , and I am classically trained in both pastry and hot cuisine in the culinary arts. I am also ServSafe and TopShelf certified.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love food. I started working in food when I was 16, I ended up going to college for chemistry and them culinary arts. I'm now finishing a BS in Food Science and Nutrition. For me, there wasn't another option than food.... do what you love.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done teaching, both privately and in a culinary school setting, I've worked with brides and grooms, parents for birthdays, full service catering, and recently I have started breaking into private chef work.
