Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We specialize in lifestyle and portrait photography with a Southern heart and a little bit of whimsy, ranging from maternity to newborn and all the way up to high school senior. We know our clients want images that are both classic and beautiful, and we deliver them with Southern hospitality and a Tennessee drawl. We do shoot special events across four states, including weddings, quinceaneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, but because we are a small boutique photography studio, we only take on so many per year. So, contact us early to reserve the date. We now also offer a sassier, sexier "after dark" product line for our more risque female clients wanting boudoir, pin-up, modern glamour, and modern beauty portraits taken. Those sessions can be shot in a studio, in your home, or at a hotel of your choosing. For more information including galleries and pricing, please check out my website or call me.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes I do. I take online and in-person training classes several times a year both on the technical side of photography (latest cameras and gear, new software tricks) and on the artistic side (latest fads, newest actions, new styles/themes). I also try to attend at least one convention per year because not only is it great networking, it's also perfect for learning from other pro's.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't focus on the pricing so much. What you should be looking for is 1) the quality and style of the prints he/she is putting out there (2) the consistency of those images from one client to another and (3) on the skill and personality of the photographer. i.e. Can this person deliver top of the line images every time out of the gate? What training and experience does he/she have? Will you be able to work with this person? Do they truly understand your vision or are they just gonna wing it? After all that, then consider the pricing. If they are in your budget, great. If they are not however, why are they so far outside your budget? Are they that highly inflated or are you undervaluing photography and photographers because you think it's something anybody can do?
