Introduction: Anyone can play music, however it takes a real entertainer to be able to engage guests even without music. I am versatile and that exactly what I can do, with or without music, I can entertain your crowd for hours with interactive games, comedy and much more. I tend to take the small traditions and put a twist on them to make them truly out of this world. I love my clients, especially my brides and grooms. Over the years I have made a lot of great person friends just by not only fulfilling my job but going above and beyond to make these events special and memorable. Also, I have met many great vendors with whom I network and have the ability to bring them more business. But nothing says it all but to see that smile on a bride's face when her one day she has envisioned her entire life is brought to reality.

Holden, this is in response to your post. Most if not all DJ's require at least one face to face meeting before they start planning your event, I really do not know of one that doesn't. If you are planning an event, we will be happy to accommodate with any services we offer, however, like most professional entertainers and DJ's who know what they are worth, we always provide you with a list of services and many audio and lighting options and even how we approach any event before we give you an estimate. Since estimates and quotes can vary so widely from client to client - it would actually be unfair to you to quote you a price based on the little to no information you provided for me. We like to custom-cater our audio and lighting design to fit your needs. It's not about what we want, it's about what you want. You wouldn't expect and insurance agent to quote you right away when they do not know what type of insurance you are looking for i.e. house, car, boat, etc. without first providing for them the proper details. That way they can offer you the best options for your budget. I surely hoped this helped educate you somewhat on how professionals do business. Don't really know how things are in your "neck of the woods" so to speak, but it does sound like an entertainer from your hometown would much better suit your needs and I am sure fit your budget better than I could. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is really based on a lot of things such as the amount of add-ons, customization, travel time, music selection, event type and really how easy I am able to get along with the client however weddings generally cost a lot more than any other event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly attending Disc Jockey seminars and getting more training and of course networking with the top entertainers in the industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My pastor at my church wanted me to bring music to a cookout they were having and I had never done anything like that in my life. After the gig and seeing those people dance and have so much fun, I knew I had found my calling. After I did my first wedding, it was definite I didn't want to do anything else.
