- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like challenge, when working on these heat and air systems you run into all sorts of difficult problems and see the neglect that the homeowner has created due to not knowing these things most be done. I like the since of accomplishment of repair things that others could not due. I hate to see all job that was half-assed by a guy you trusted in your home and the anger that you have after paying these people to screw a job up. I did not plan to stay in this when I started in it, buy it has been very rewarding. I love to meet new people and improve the quality air in the area I love.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview Who you are interested in. Ask to see their license and any picture of prior work. Request a Reference Log of customers past and present. Find out how many customers return needing other work done. Get to know your contractor to establish if you would trust them to provide quality workmanship. If your contractor is serious about his company, he will have no problem providing any of these request. Let them know what your short term and long term projects are this will help you. If you like this guy and he makes it to the next step have him meet the family, so we all know each other. We do not want anyone to wonder who we are. Ask the contractor what his ideas are and allow room to adjust the ideas you had created to a more flexible way or simply keep to your plan.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Mold and carbon monoxide is problems I fight on a daily basis.It is my lifes mission to provide the greastest quality of air possible. Where their is moisture you have the ability of mold, and mildew to grow, I whats best for your family so they breathe easy, so they do not get sick from things growing or leaking into the air in your home
