Introduction: Because I listen. It is important to understand why my client wants the photo--it is usually more than just a nice family photo of keepsake. What looks like a simple portrait may be used on a book jacket, application, for advertising, for a high school or college reunion. We try to tell the person's story visually.
Even the most common type of photography is a creative process, and there are so many ways to see a subject--the challenge is capturing an image that tells a story--both for the customer and to whomever sees the photo.
And every assignment is always a new experience--never dull and boring, and meeting new people adds to the value of the experience.
