What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $4 per 100 words (or $.04 per word). If a job requires intensive editing, I charge $120 an hour (at a rate of about 3,000 words per hour).
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I pride myself on great customer service. I am happy to discuss your project over the phone and address any concerns or requests you may have. I will then work with you over email to complete your project on time. I'm available via text, phone call, and email any time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began proofreading in 2009 and started my editing business Revised Ink in 2015. I have kept many longtime happy customers and am always looking to add more! I received awards for English in high school and went on to graduate cum laude from the Honors Program at UCLA's English department in 2015. I've been told I have an "eagle eye" by many a satisfied customer.
