My son is taking voice lessons and they also work on music composition. We are in our 2nd month and it's going great. My son feels like he is really learning a lot from Marcin and looks forward to his lesson each week! We made the right choice with Marcin.
Eddie Rutland and the Moonshine Rhythm Club was the best decision we made for our wedding. They perfectly set the tone and atmosphere for our ceremony and reception. Our guests had a blast dancing to motown, 50s songs, jazz and the blues. The guys fit in really well dressing up in the theme of our wedding wearing bow ties and jackets. One of our guests even commented that it was refreshing to have a band of younger men filled with energy and enthusiasm - without being distracting. They were able to read the room and control the energy, so the evening had a really nice flow to it. In addition, they were very easy to work with and were flexible around timing and putting in last minute details. I cannot recommend enough for any event. These guys seriously rock!! Thank you Eddie and the band! Look forward to seeing you guys perform again.
Rebecca is a standout guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and human! The opportunities I've had to work with her have shown her to be nothing less than a consummate professional, and she is a joy to work with. Go Rebecca!
They were wonderful to work with and our event was last minute! They did a great job - Thanks so much for everything!
Damian & Carson are awesome and talented artists. I have seen them preform many times & their voices, music & harmony are amazing together. I even had them to perform at my wedding- our first song "January Wedding" by the Avett Brothers. I couldn't think of a better musician couple to dance our first song to. They are absolutely amazing!
She is an amazing artist and an equally talented teacher. She understands what works for me and she develops her lessons to address my needs. She is supportive and encouraging in many genuine ways. She really cares about developing people's voices. I have seen her work magic with people of all ages.
My daughter has taken both violin and piano at The Music House from different teachers. I can highly recommend the teachers - they are professional, and also connect to the kids to make music engaging and fun. This has been a formative experience in my daughter's life and I am extremely grateful towards the teachers and The Music House.
Zak is extremely professional and talented. Gets the job done quickly and well. He is an amazing artist, who will take your music to the next level. He is also great at meeting deadlines, and getting back to you in a timely manner. Would highly recommend.
These guys are great! I know I can trust them with big-budget recordings if I had the chance because they are very thorough and want each client/co-writer/collaboration to go as productive as possible. They have fresh ideas and a "new" vision and outlook for what's to come around the bend in the music industry. The art of what we do is staying ahead of the game. They do this immensely. - Dillon Dixon/Nashville/Europe - Singer-Songwriter
My daughter took classical guitar lessons from Will Fruchterman for one year. He taught her so much and really helped her technical skills improve greatly. It was wonderful to see how much her motivation increased once she started working with Will. He taught her many new songs and worked with her on special side projects, including helping her to prepare a blues-style song for an audition. He was very flexible in meeting our schedule and willing to adjust as needed. My daughter's love and passion for classical guitar have definitely grown and vastly improved in her year with Will. In addition to helping my daughter, he also helped her school guitar club, inviting them to participate in a special event at Christopher Newport University. Meeting other guitar students and seeing others perform has helped the school guitar club build new goals to strengthen their skills. So, Will has indirectly influenced about twenty other kids, as well! Sadly, he moved away, but he did take the time to find her a new classical guitar teacher. We are eternally grateful for finding such a professional, patient, and dedicated teacher in Will Fruchterman.
I had a such amazing time working on my piano skills with Katarina. Since I was playing classical piano and I wanted to learn to play some jazz tunes, she could easily connect those two since she can play from classical to jazz and blues music like crazy !!! Take the class with her, you will learn so much!!! Very nice person too.
Great teacher. He's the real deal as a performer and player and can get to the heart of what you need to learn whatever stage you're at. As far as rocking blues guitar, Tony's the man. Great guy!
I have been interested in learning to play guitar for a long time. My son who is going to be a senior was also interested in picking up the bass guitar in order to take a Rock Band class in school. Being a busy mom, I needed someone who could come to our house as well as be flexible with scheduling lessons. Lonny does both of these and is very reasonable with his fee. My son and I both have played piano and 1 other instrument each so that rhythm and reading notes came easier for us. But Lonny took me pretty far in the first couple of lessons that I was able to play notes on all 6 strings and therefore beautiful classical guitar songs with notes and chords in the treble and bass clefs. He is currently working with my son on syncopation. I'm confident that he has listened to my son's goals and will have him ready to be comfortable playing in Rock Band once school starts.
I became a music artist to help people transform their lives, and I want to see you accomplish more than you can on your own. It is difficult to find the time and motivation, so I will push you to accomplish your goals.
I am J Spade, the owner and operator of Rhythm Rug Productions. I am an all-vinyl DJ who specializes in old school, hip-hop, funk, and soul.
I am a singer/songwriter/backup singer/pianist. That is my 'artist' website, but I have hundreds of songs I've written and demoed all genres. I am a backup singer for a country artist whom I have a single with, have recorded an album at Tuff Gong in Kingston Jamaica, and write with hip-hop artists/DJs out of New York, so I am diverse in 'vibe'. I am also a classical composer. Sight-reading and finding harmonies are fortes of mine. I am a melody-creating monster. I am confident in this and hear the entire track in my head before it's ever laid down, so I work fast and creatively. My pricing is reasonable. I put 150% of my heart into everything. I love what I do and am humbled every day that I get to do it. I look forward to working with you!
Frankly, no two teachers, especially the good ones, do things the same way. Each student is unique, and they are also my teachers. Inspiring students to "play from the heart" and to trust in instinct is a wise gift that gives and gives... Currently teaching vocals to a Minneapolis native with a big voice that wants to own pieces much like Oliver Twist, The Wiz, etc. Follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Guthrie...
I do special effects and glamour makeup artistry. They are great for social engagements, special events, weddings, or just because.
