Introduction: I Think first and foremost, I am not just a piano player, but a professional. Having a background in the music industry and business, makes a difference in how smooth your performance can go for the agent and the audience. I am not the least expensive, but highly worth the amount requested and will give more than 100%. (Bio and list of major artist worked with upon request)
I like to arrive early and in plenty of time to be set up so the event will go accordingly. Dress and attire is very important to the performance you are working. So, this is always a part of my job before I arrive, knowing how to look for your event. Having the best in equipment and instruments, when needed to bring for the show, is very important. I pride myself in the fact that I have taken a lot time and energy picking out some of the best equipment to give you the best sound needed, wanted and expected by a professional. (Equipment list upon request)
Just being a great piano player, does not make you a great performer. A performer can play anything requested, should that situation arise. A performer is personable and knows how to mingle with the guest on their break, making the music a true part of the event happening for the evening. They also know when NOT to be a part of the audience when that is appropriate . In other words, they know when and how to fit in to make everyone a part of the music experience for the evening.
I am a performer as well as a piano player. Yes I play standards and request of all genres, but I am a creator, and capturing an audience is what I do best. (Standard song list available on request)
I take great pride in my music and feel tremendous accomplishment and diversity in my craft. I love playing, preforming, creating, and especially the musical journey.
