About
Welcome to Vagabond Photography! I’m Natasha, a passionate photographer inspired by the untamed beauty of nature and the timeless charm of the mountains based in Knoxville; raised in Sevierville, Tennessee. With over 8 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with work deeply rooted in the natural landscapes and the vibrant stories that surround us. From the golden light filtering through the trees to the misty peaks of the Appalachians, I strive to create photography that reflects the raw, unfiltered beauty of life. Whether it’s capturing intimate family moments, adventurous elopements, or quiet reflections in the great outdoors, my goal is to provide you with images that feel as enduring and awe-inspiring as the landscapes we call home. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m exploring trails, chasing sunsets, and finding inspiration in the wild places with my family where life feels the most alive. Let’s work together to capture your story in a way that feels as natural and beautiful as the mountains themselves. Featured on CBS and ABC News.

Vagabond Photography was fantastic to work with! She captured our engagement session so beautifully and was amazing to work with. She had her own list of shots she planned to take, but also went off photo examples I showed her that I wanted. All of our photos were delivered in 1 week which was amazing!

Vagabond Photography is the absolute best in all ways imaginable! Instantly, she makes you and your party feel so comfortable as she captures your special moments. I may have shed a tear or two as my wedding ceremony progressed, and she actually wiped my tears for me so my photos would come out perfect. She also took us to hidden parts of our location to ensure the best photos were captured. I never imagined that I would feel so at ease on my big day, and a great part of my happiness was due to her professionalism and artistic eye. I wish I could provide a rating higher than 5/5. Love, love, love Vagabond!

I recently hired Natasha from Vagabond for a session, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. While I appreciated the effort that went into the shoot itself, the post-session communication left a lot to be desired. After receiving the edited photos, I politely expressed that I wasn’t happy with the editing style and requested access to the raw images — not for redistribution, just for personal keepsake. I was met with repeated refusals and was told I should have raised concerns after seeing the sample images. However, at no point was it clearly communicated that the sample represented the final editing style for all images or that any edits beyond that would incur extra charges. She repeatedly referenced a contract that, to my knowledge, was never signed — raising questions about how binding its terms really were. I tried to handle things respectfully, but the lack of flexibility and unwillingness to work toward a reasonable solution was frustrating. I understand artists have their creative vision, but clear communication and a client-first mindset are essential in any professional service. This was a disappointing experience overall, and I hope this feedback encourages clearer communication for future clients.

Vagabond Photography's reply
I respectfully stand by the policies I have in place. These aren’t meant to make things difficult, but to ensure clear expectations and a smooth experience for both of us. On the day of your shoot, the location was requested to be changed multiple times, along with questions about rescheduling the date itself—all of which created a lot of last-minute uncertainty. Additionally, final payment wasn’t made until after the session, which is a direct violation of the terms outlined in the signed contract because payments are due 2 weeks prior to the shoot. As stated in my policy, this could have resulted in the shoot being canceled altogether. I’ve also received several follow-up questions that continue to go against those same agreed-upon policies, including repeated requests regarding unedited/RAW files. I completely understand wanting the best outcome for your session, but I also have to honor the boundaries that protect my business and workflow. I also provided a same day video of the event- free of charge- without previous discussion that this would be a request, which is not common in this industry. All photographers are going to fall back on their contract guidelines when someone is becoming confrontational. I hope you can understand that referencing the contract isn’t personal—it’s just necessary for me to stay consistent and professional with all my clients.

The passion that is given throughout your session makes your experience one to remember. They don't just give you images, they give you memories that you can hold on to for a lifetime; Ones that will capture true emotion.
